Biggest brewer hires Sd3
InBev,
the world's largest brewer by volume, has commissioned Sd3 to research
and write their first Global Citizenship Report.
Sd3 Project Director, Dan Holmes said; "This is a tremendously exciting
opportunity to work with a company that's looking to be not only
the biggest but also the best."
Due to be published in the third quarter of 2005, the report will
highlight InBev's aim to integrate corporate responsibility into
the business from the very earliest stage.
Sd3's involvement includes development of InBev's reporting strategy
as well as feeding into the development of InBev's overall corporate
responsibility strategy. Other elements of the project include conceptual
development of the report content and structure, information scoping,
gathering and assessment, data collation and analysis, report writing
and editing, and design management.
InBev is a new company only formed in August 2004 by the combination
of Belgium's Interbrew - the world's 3rd largest brewer, and Brazil's
AmBev - the world's 5th largest brewer to create the world's largest
brewer by volume. Together, the combination creates an organisation
with 77,000 employees and over 200 beer brands, with operations
in 30 countries, sales in 140 countries and the number one or two
positions in 20 markets around the world.
