Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Kuwait, Egypt and Lebanon will discuss the concepts, define the role and develop regional frameworks
and models for corporate governance and responsibility. Sd3 Director, Jason Perks has been working with the Forum's organisers,
'Schema' in developing the sessions and will address and facilitate sessions on sustainable development, stakeholder engagement
and corporate assessment techniques.
Maali Qasem, Chair of the MENA Corporate Governance and Responsibility Forum 2007 Organising Committee stated, "This Forum aims
to benefit all businesses that operate in the MENA region irrespective of size or sector. Furthermore, this Forum is focused on
creating the necessary corporate culture behind effective implementation of corporate governance and responsibility because
with the necessary corporate culture, businesses can substantially gain from these principles and are likely to inherently be in
compliance with regulatory frameworks current and future."
